About the event
As multi-layered beings, our heart essence is at the core. Emotions, beliefs, and experiences cover this deep knowing and through contrast we remember and reconnect with this essence. In August we will work with contrast to create a symbol representing the ever-present nature of our heart essence. Explore mixed media through this simple and creative process.

140 lb. paper or whatever art journal you use.
Washi paper, book pages, tissue paper, gift wrap, magazine pages, etc.
Black gesso
Palette knife or a scraper
Acrylic markers
Gel medium, mod podge or other types of glue.
